From a Digital Agency to a Creative Group with One Purpose.
The idea behind Ident Group was conceived in Miami Beach, FL, in the very distant year 2000. Ident Group was my vehicle for learning about the inner workings of various businesses while providing valuable design and development services. It was originally incorporated in 2003 in Brooklyn, NY, but has since found its way back to Miami. As the years went on, it became much less of an agency with clients and employees and a lot more of a freeform collective where I collaborate with creative and talented friends, colleagues, and business partners.
Over the last two decades I've been extremely lucky to have worked with/for many brilliant people. In fact, I've often said that my job is simply helping smart people build great things. Whether it's coming up with a company name, defining a vision, building prototypes, leading design and engineering teams, or the countless sub-tasks that lay in between, the one true purpose of Ident Group has always been to identify (get it?) the important and the superfluous, and execute efficiently and relentlessly to deliver that which is important. Turns out that despite the diversity of industries that our projects have spanned, the formula for success is surprisingly similar.
